Why should you choose AIMS for your Medicaid needs? Why, the services of course. We offer many different services. Every family's need is unique. We provide an array of services that completely cover every Medicaid need your family may have. - Immediate Medicaid need: You have placed a loved-one in a nursing home for a Long Term stay and you don't want to deplete the family's finances in order to pay for services. You may have a family member in the hospital and it's clear that a Short Term stay in a nursing home will be necessary. AIMS should be contacted immediately.
- Preparation for Future: When you are currently having no problem paying for your own medical costs but have concerns about the future of your family's finances. You may feel that you don't need the benefit of the program now. However, when it is needed in the future you want to be prepared. A family doesn't have to be destitute to become eligible. An AIMS representative will advise you how set your monies aside for your family; ethically and legally. You would be most wise to prepare for the future now. Preparing now ensures that when Medicaid is needed it will be available, and your family is still comfortable because you planned for the unexpected. The Deficit Reduction Act has changed the Medicaid laws making it extremely hard to protect resources. You MUST plan ahead if you want to protect 100% of your resources for your family.
- In Home Passport Services: Keeping your loved ones at home as long as possible is a priority. A person may be able to remain in their own surroundings longer than ever before. Passport is a program provided by the Area Office on Aging of Northwest Ohio. They offer an array of services targeted specifically to aid individuals in staying home. To be eligible for this program you must be eligible for Medicaid. AIMS helps the AOA get the community the benefits they deserve. If you are interested in this program, Medicaid is a necessity.
- Recertification: Once your Medicaid application has been approved, it will need to be reviewed at different times of the year. It may be every 3, 6 or 12 months depending on the type of case. Most clients that have chosen AIMS for their Medicaid needs choose to have us complete these appointments as well.
