Once the decision has been made to contact AIMS an appointment will be made for a representative to come directly to your location. This location may be your home, a family member's home, a hospital or even a nursing facility. The choice is yours. You may choose to have a few close friends or family present at the initial interview. This is welcomed. Your complete comfort with the process is imperative. Prior to your initial meeting you will be provided with a checklist of verifications. These verifications are the bones of the application and eligibility may not be determined without them. We ask that you have as many of the requested items as possible with you at the time of our arrival. There will undoubtedly be documents that will not be available to you. We will gladly accept the responsibility of obtaining the remaining verifications that are needed. We will assist you in this compilation to the best of our ability.
After all documents that are needed have been submitted to your specialist AIMS develops a strategy personalized for your specific case. Each and every case is different. This is why you should never accept advice regarding Medicaid matters from anyone other than a Medicaid Specialist. The strategy is a step by step guide to obtaining eligibility as quickly as possible while preserving as many of your resources as possible. You will be given the exact date Medicaid eligibility will exist if you choose to work the strategy and follow the advice given. Once you have completed the strategy we make the application at the county level on your behalf. At no time will you ever be asked to go to the county Job and Family Services. Your specialist will follow through with the application until the approval.
FEES: Your fee for service will be disclosed at your initial face to face consultation. Fees are all inclusive and preset. Until your combined countable resources are determined we cannot quote your fee.
please note: AIMS is not a legal advisory business. We do not offer legal advice. We simply offer the truth regarding Medicaid eligibility and the legal, ethical and moral way to obtain it.
